Greetings from Sabah Museum
The Sabah Museum is located on 43.3 acres of lush green natural and planted jungle. Situated on a small hill overlooking the state mosque, it is designed to look like a longhouse and it opened its doors in 1984. It also houses a Heritage village, Islamic museum and art gallery. The admission fee for Malaysian guests is at RM2 per person meanwhile for non-Malaysian guests is at RM15 per person. However, entrance fee is free for students in uniforms, disabled guests, senior citizens and taxi drivers.
Another interesting places that can be found nearby Sabah Museum are Science & Technology Center, Heritage Village and Ethnobotanical Garden. The opening hours are from 9 a.m to 5 p.m daily.
How to get here? They are located at Jalan Kebajikan off Jalan Penampang, opposite the Secretariat Building and approximately 4km from Kota Kinabalu. Visitors can take Bus No. 13 with fare of RM1.00 (one way) or another option is by taking a taxi with a fare of RM10.00 (one way).
